Canada Health Infoway has been funding CSA's province-wide implementation under the Innovation and Adoption Initiative since 2006. On January 30, 2009, the Lessons Learned Toolkit was submitted, thus officially meeting all project deliverables.

CSA has completed it's WebSMR implementation project funded by Canada Health Infoway.
The Alberta Health Services Safe Surgery Checklist and the WHO Safe Surgery Checklist will be integrated into the templates.
